Canada's Grand National Building Project is .... Prisons???!!!!

The following article is one of the best I've come across that shows 21 century school design.  I was surprised to read that the UK is into year 6 of the $80 billion rebuild of its entire secondary school system to allow for new models of learning.

After reading this I pondered for a moment our federal government's current national project: to build bigger and better prisons.  That's it, that's the big "vision" for our country. Sigh. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2011/09/21/pol-crime-bill-in-out.html
