Impact of #hana62?

We are still assessing the impact of hosting a global twitter chat and completing follow-up work, but I do have these to share.

More ... much more ....

The quiet acknowledgment from our school board was significant. Not one administrator at any level, except for our 21 Century Fluency consultant jumped into the conversation during the day, but I'm sure we were being observed.  This could have gone horrible wrong. We were working in real time and had the conversation gone astray we could have set back twitter in the classroom for many years to come. We are hoping that as more educators engage in real time learning, administrators will become comfortable entering into conversation in a public space. Being open and transparent is part our new world of learning.

This, however, was the highlight for my students. When they saw it the day after our chat, loud cheers erupted.

Class 62, I am proud of you!
