Essentially, time online will be metered. Those who use more bandwidth will pay accordingly. For educators who continuously scour the internet looking for resources or complete report cards at home online this decision has enormous financial consequences. For low-income students, access to information has suddenly become a luxury. Internet use in the classroom becomes limited due to financial constraints. Fortunately, social media has risen to the occasion and outrage is heating up our keyboards. I've added my voice to the protest.
