A number of organizations and institutions have banded together to formulate a vision of what education in Canada should evolve into. It is research-based and pulls together the ideas being promoted globally on how an advanced education system should be structured. I find it very exciting because this model will bring back student engagement and creativity - aspects that have been pushed out of education in the current aim for high scores in the standardized tests model.

The question becomes: how do we as a community - students, parents, business leaders, teachers, educational assistants, researchers ... work together to accelerate or be at the forefront of implementation? It's about more than bringing technology into our schools - it's about how learning should be.
Let's be the leaders in development of this model.
